Component-level repair wherever it is possible, instead of replacing the whole board.
Slow computers
SSD upgrades, more memory, a clean installation of Windows or macOS.
Keyboards
Liquid damage, keys that stick or no longer respond, full keyboard replacement.
Overheating
Loud fans, sudden shutdowns, internal cleaning and fresh thermal paste.
Moving to a new computer
Transferring your files, email and settings from the old machine to the new one.

How it works
- Bring it in or ship it. Contact me to arrange delivery in Bologna. If you are elsewhere, a courier can bring it to me.
- Free diagnosis within 24 to 48 hours. I find out what is actually wrong before quoting anything.
- You receive a quote. No obligation. If you decide not to go ahead, you pay nothing.
- I carry out the repair, with a three-month warranty.
- You collect it, or I ship it back to you.
Warranty and what it costs
Every repair carries a three-month warranty. The diagnosis is free and you always get a quote before any work begins, so there are no surprises on collection.
If a repair turns out not to be worth the money, I will tell you. On an older machine it is sometimes more sensible to move your data across to a new one, and I would rather say so than take on work that does not help you.
I can come to you
I offer on-site service in Bologna and in the Bologna Apennines: €70 for the first hour and €50 from the second hour onwards, with my travel included in that price.
For other towns in the Bologna metropolitan area, contact me to agree availability and how the visit will work. You can also bring your device to the workshop or send it by courier, with shipping at your expense in both directions.
